Rewari, March 16
Union Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit said today
that the announcement about implementation of the one-rank,one-pension
(OROP) scheme would be made immediately after the conclusion of
parliamentery session.
Interacting with media persons at his residence in Rampura village
here today, he said the BJP government was committed to executing the
OROP scheme for ex-servicemen.He maintained the financial burden on account of implementing the OROP scheme had been taken care of in the Budget. If needed, additional funds would be transferred for the scheme. “Any monetary problem will not be allowed to come in the way of the OROP scheme,” said Inderjit.
Dear Friends.
Please Chalk out the Next strategy to achieve OROP.In this connection I wold like to invite your Kind Attention that Modi Govt is going to celebrate their one year of completion in office in May 4th week.
If OROP is not declared Till then We have to make a contingency plan now itself to observe that day as a black day with processions all over India.
OROP is approaching its logical conclusion and on the verge of declaration. I do not think any more protest or dharna will be required as the position stands today.
ReplyDeleteIt does have complication since 7CPC will grant 70% last pay drawn plus annual increments on pension required to considered.I agree with you that is on the verge of declaring OROP ans has no intention of pushing it to 7CPC.
DeleteFor us everyday is a BLACK DAY. Day by day the hope to get OROP is getting vanished. This Govt. is very much busy in destroying the churches, converting the relegion, planning to make all the women as a machine of producing Hindu children etc. They dont have time to discuss about unwanted issues like OROP or Pension arrears prior to 2006.
ReplyDeleteSetting aside all its considerations Govt should now come forward not to make joke of OROP.
DeleteMy previous comments not published. May I know the reasons for not approval .
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteI think this government should know as a promise government but reality is far away. This is the first kind of government to announce any thing to please the people because there is no cost in announcement but to bring in reality, this government has no aim at all.
Yes it is true that we will have to think over again because the this govt is also started working in the same pattern just as UPA govt passed the last ten year of their regime. At last when they were knowing that they are going out then they declared so many things like OROP. This NDA govt also working on the same principle. Everyday and every month some news comes out for dragging this issue for long.
ReplyDeleteDear All,
ReplyDeleteAs per my Mr Narendra Modi is a polished and sweet poisonous person as he is saying something and doing something which is totally not linked with each other in his statement and in practical. Now I realise that if Mr AK Antony is a Defence Minister I assure that OROP will implement long back but bad luck of Ex Serviceman . Nothing to say more. Bureaucrats are main enemy for our community
Such delay and dragging in implementation of orop was not expected from a Government which has earned a strong mandate from our countrymen. Whatever critical it is in calculation, with the help of modern gazettes and of course with good will, Govt could have implemented it quite early. The exservicemen community are counting every day for implementation of orop as present pension is too meagre to continue daily living. Hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteLet us hope for the Best and prepare for the worst.
ReplyDeleteOnce more RM may be contacted. If OROP payment circular is not out by end of April 2015 then we have to Chalk out the Next strategy to achieve OROP.I agree with u. But black day with processions all over India will not help us.We have to sit together and prepare some other strong plan for achievement of OROP
ReplyDeleteThis is the right time for all Exserviceman to take a strong decision.....otherwise these politicians and bureaucrats will be keep on cheating us as usually they were doing since our country become independent
ReplyDeleteOn seeing the uncertainities and illogical postponement of OROP appears that they may drag the matter on one or other pretext till the date of 7th pay commission. finally it would be handed over to the chairman pay commission for materialization. I think it may pave for some sudden and radical changes like civil disobedience as in british regime. Churchil rightly points out do not give freedom to indians it may fall into the hands of freebooters and self centered politicians even they do not spare water and air from taxation. they will put the nation in trouble due to their power struggle
ReplyDeleteWe had been demanding OROP and as per media Government (UPA as well as NDA) had accepted ganting OROP. But do we know what should we get in OROP based on the known pay scales. Can the veterans present the Government with tables that should be applicable if OROP is implemented as evisaged by the veterans. I am sure we do have experts amongst us who can undertake this task.
