Note:
-
1. Table has been made using real data
available and best across three Services.
2. Stepping up has been done in cases
where the pension for greater length of service in a rank is lower than the
lesser length of service in the same rank.
3. Stepping up has also been done in cases
where the pension in senior rank is lower than a junior rank for the same length
of service.
4. In cases where real data is not
available, the date of next rank for same length of service has been used
reducing the pension by half the difference in Grade Pays.
5. The Enhanced Ordinary Family Pension
will be equivalent of the re-fixed retiring pension. Special Family Pension
will be 120% of the re-fixed retiring pension and Liberalised Family Pension
will be 200% of the re-fixed retiring pension.

Dear Sirs,
ReplyDeleteMay you kindly let us know the OROP table for Officers other than AMC, RVC, etc.
brgds,
Capt ( Retd) Gurdas Singh
Dear Sir,
DeleteIt is published today & a copy is send to your mail
I have retired in 2006 after 20 yrs service
Delete.can we expect any OROP
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteLooks good. But is it an authentic one?
Dear Sir,
DeleteThis is not authentic
Is it for pre2006?What abput A/F orop kindly let us know.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteThis is common to all the three services.but not authentic
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteIs this table irrespective of the group like X, Y, Z group?
can we trust on this chart sir ?
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteIt is only a projection,unofficial & unreliable.
Sir,the pension of Hony Capt is 21000 as on april 2012, how it is 17905
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteThe above figure 21000 is not correct. The basic pension of Hon Capt can not be more than 16145.It is most likely that you might have added the element of DA to basic pension
Is OROP calculated taking Pension @70% of last drawn payment?
DeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteWhatever given in the chart is only basic pension & you have to add 100% DA to this.
Then it comes to 35810.
Sir Hony Capt with 33 years of service getting basic pension of 21000 as on april 2012
ReplyDeletePension of hony capt is on par with regular capt i.e basic pension -25600
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteHony Cspt basic pay is not in par with PC capt. Please refer circular 501 given at the bottom of this blog. You are also requested to ask this clarification at the chat box of this blog for a second openion.
Sir the projected pension is based on what grounds. Is it workable and reliable. There has to be some mechanism to calculate it. simple imaginary projection may not go a long way.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteThis projection is not authentic & published by a Ex-service officers organization
earlier basic pension of regular Lt & Capt was equal to that of H/Lt and H/Capt whereas as per new charts there is a big gap in their pension. kindly clarify.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteThis projection is not authentic & published by a Ex-service officers organization
Respected Sir ,circular 500 and 501 shwing same pension for hony capt and regular capt with 28 or more yrs f service i.e 16145 how it changed now to 25600 for capt and 17905 for hony capt
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteThis projection is not authentic & published by a Ex-service officers organization
Sir. the rates projected in the Table shows that the rate of pension of a JCO having 15 years of service and 28 years of service are the same , This is a great injustice that the length of service has not been considered to arrive at the projected rates. It is also observed that the Group has not been shown in the Table. Please clarify.
ReplyDeleteSir, Good Evening. I have completed 24 years of service and got Hony Nb Sub on 15th Aug 2008, now I am getting pension after deduction 12,800/-. Some pensioner are told me you just fwd your comments and get what is the actual pension as of today. So I am requesting you please clarify and reply as early as possible. Regards Roy
ReplyDeleteIt really a good info for orop n offrs. Let us know whaf govt/mod is taking promt actin
ReplyDeleteGood evening.. Its really a good info for orop n offrs but govt. cannot implement this.
ReplyDeleteThis is only lollipop ...
Dear sir,
ReplyDeleteI Ex Nb/Sub Sunil Kumar would like to congratulate & apereceate your efforts towards exserviceman welfare.
Sir now the major question is implementation of projected scale by pcda pensions Allahabad?
I shall feel highly oblige to you if you may provide updates of pcda for implementation of prop new scale.
Thanks & regards
Ex Jc 196407 A , Naib Subedar Sunil Kumar
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteThis chart prepared by service head quarters has been rejected by Babus. The service head quarter is reported to have been preparing another chart as desired by babus, the details of which is not known
Withregards,
MBC
Grade Pay has been fixed Rs 6600/- pm by 6th pay commission for those who were drawing Rs 10325/- pm as Basic Pay. Basic Pay of H/Lt and H/Capt was Rs 10500 and Rs 10850/-pm, their Grade Pay should be fixed Rs 6600/-pm. Where as their grade pay has been fixed for Rs 5400/- and Rs 6100/- respectively. Pl clarify which formula is being adopted for H/Lt and H/Capt Grade Pay calculation. As per DGL on OROP pension of Hony Lt and Hony Capt calculated Rs 16160 and Rs 17905 on completion of 30 Years Service. On other way pension of permanent Commissioned Officer's pension of Lt/Capt has been calculated Rs 25050 and Rs 25600/pm after 30 Years of Service. Why? All Hony Lt/Capt were getting more Basic Pay in compere to Permanent Commissioned Officer Lt/Capt ie Rs 10500/- and Rs 10850/-pm. How can Hony Lt/Capt pay lesser pension by OROP.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Airforce PBOR? Is it Same? Is there any deference in the Trade / Group etc.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteIt is common to three forces. The above chart is rejected by the govt. Hence we can not ascertain the fact that whether the new calculation is with or without group.
Dear Chandran sir,
ReplyDeleteIt has given immense pleasure all of veterans of armed forces,Further from my inner heart i wish all the best and convey my thanks on behalf all the veterans....great contribution and great work furnished.....well done sir.

murthyddurai@gmail.com
Dear Sir,
DeleteIf OROP is implemented in letter & true spirit pre-2006 as well as post 2006 will be benefited. But if it is only upgradation to 6th CPC, then you will not be benefited.Lets hope for the best.
With regards,
MBC

Respected sir,
ReplyDeleteI Ex Havildar D.Ananda Rao would like to congratulate & appreciate your efforts towards ex-serviceman welfare.
Sir now the major question is implementation of projected scale by pcda pensions Allahabad?
Thanks & regards
Ex Havildar Dannana Ananda Rao,
Sir, I am an ex_serviceman I have seen the OROP table paisted by you in the block, it is looking good but one thing you mind, it should make changes by adding group pay (X,Y,Z) of every table. do not merge 2 to 3 years service of same pension.
ReplyDeleteOROP means (same rank same service and same group which the pensioner was served in the past defence service, with out these three components it will not accepted OROP table. If you are an Ex-serviceman you know what is the meaning of group pay(X, Y, Z) it must follow before prepare the table. with out taking the group pay(X,Y,Z) there is no meaning of higher grade and higher rank to service him in the defence. do not merge all the group X, Y, Z same. group pay, length of service and rank must include every pension. whith out knowing this matter you have make this table, So that, the Babu's are rejected your table. One thing kind your knowledge who have served in the defence service he will know very well what is the importance and what are the problems sacrifices in their entire service.///////
thanks, I expect your reply soon.////
Sir, Is the above table approved by the Govt. In which month the CDA/Bankers will send the amount to Pensioner. Kindly confirm.Awaiting for early reply.

With Thanks &Regards,

Sir,
ReplyDeleteI am not completed 15 years pensionable service but getting service element and disability element of pension .As per your calculation kindly advice the minimum service element of pension. The present service element is Rs.3500.
With regards
K.L.Stanley John
It is surprise to see that there is no change in pension in respect of Nb/Sub
ReplyDeletesince length of service from 15 years to 26 years although all rank have difference
according to length of service. Is it justice. That should be reconsidered.
Sir, why not we insist on a time frame for the settlement ? We have to approach our MP`s, throughout the nation and see if they are really serious !
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteIt is now long outstanding since last government. This should be finalise on the priority basis and fulfill the hopes of veterans struggling since beginning for justice. Earlier UPA government was known as ante ex-servicemen due to the same nature. At the last moment of Election declared by them for votes only still they didn't get any benefit as it was set in the mind of veterans negativity of previous government. Immediate implementation of OROP will not make the image of government only but winning the heart as a great success fighting since long.
It gives immense pleasure to thank the veterans those who are working to get OROP implemented by filing cases in courts and pressurising the govt. through various activities in both official and political level. The spirit of the veterans should last for long time with the grace of god. Saluting you one & all with pride.
ReplyDeleteI retaired on 30 jun 12. Service 17 yrs. What will i get pension as per this table
ReplyDeletePlease let us know the second table submitted by Service Headquarters.
ReplyDeleteSir, I am a disabled ex-serviceman (group B) and retirement on 20.05.1993 (total service 10 years & 3 months). Your table is starting from 15th year QS. Kindly intimate appx pension for my case - email : reshma_renjith@yahoo.co.in - 094425 77873 - By RK Nair, Pondicherry.
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeletePerson who retired from the rank of Nb Sub and granted Hony rank of Sub after retirement will get the pension of Sub or Nb Sub. please clarify.
Sir,
ReplyDeleteYou have published OROP notional basic pension chart. But what about DA % and effective date. Pl. clarify.

Sir,
ReplyDeleteFirst remove PBOR word from all dictionary. Say Offrs/JCOs because JCO rank is a gazetted rank and can be achieved only through hurdles. This is the tacties of Army Officers for getting their benefits and degrade JCO rank of Armd Forces.
God Bless
Sir,
ReplyDeleteFirst remove the word PBOR from dictionary. All authorities tried their best to de-grade JCOs rank since independence. Say Offrs/JCOs and think about . God bless

Sir,
ReplyDeleteInstate of PBOR please use Solider Or Warrior & Offrs/JCOs and please NOT to deprive Uniform which placed under superior.
sir where is the y group
ReplyDeleteRespected sir,
ReplyDeleteA person who served in the Indian Amry with HAV Rank 24 years and some other veteran16 years[HAV Rank] how they come under one rank one pension.
How did you justify this ?
Sir,
ReplyDeleteI doubt the commitment of service chiefs w.r.t implementation of OROP. No need of agitations, posturing and begging by Ex Servicemen. A Joint strongly worded letter from all the service chief to PM will make all the bureaucratic huddles disappear and subsequent implementation of IROP.
Sir,
ReplyDeleteI have retired from IAF as JWO after 21 years of service in the year 1981. As on today i am getting Rs 9069/- (basic pension). I have served in the group I trade.
I have few questions for your reply & comment:-
1) What is the current rate of pension for a group I trade JWO after putting 21 years of service.
2) From the table you have provided , it is seen that there are no change in rate of pension for a JCO for 15 years of service to 26 Years of service.
- what is the sin done by these JCOs?
3) If implimented before the 7th CPC, will it be once again revised as per the new scale of pay with out any anomalies?.
4) Till date i am not able to get the endorsement in the PPO for the family pension. Kindly do suggest me what am i to do?
Thank You and expecting er nest early reply.

The projected table of OROP stands cancelled by the babus. then how they are going to explore the well defined table. this is only delaying tactics either to stall the implementation of OROP or postpone. our modi babu is observing silence in this regard
ReplyDeleteAs per SC ddirective "same rank, same pension, rehgardless of last pay drawn, length of service and numbers of year rank hold"........ it should be the fundamental idea of "one rank one pension". There should not be added anything more!
ReplyDeleteIt is observed our officers use our men for their own benefit as is the case of our netas! The difference of pension between the ranks of subordinates is hardly few hundreds whereas offs are more! They always take the cream of any movement got the momentum by the men. I believe there should be one definition of pensioner.... as a pensioner all should get one pension irrespective of ranks they served!
ReplyDeleteAfter service, everything gets as ordinary as common man in democracy!........
ReplyDeletethe center has been ordered to implement OROP with in three months by the honorable Supreme Court of India as per their directions.
ReplyDeleteThe definition of OROP has been well explained in its order.
Let us hope for its implementation at the earliest.
respected sir, what is the benefit of H/rank announcmet after retirment, with the reason of independence day (or) republic day,if not get benefit, why not ,and why announce h/rank after retirment
ReplyDeleterespected sir, what is the benefit of OROP for me. I am X group (Group-I) of Sergeant of IAF with 15 years of service retired in AUG 1993.
ReplyDeleteFor 28 years service as subedhar how much total amount I ll got in one rank one pension icluding basic and DA
ReplyDeletebureaucrats systematically,(sitting in CPC s} merged all groups into group 'B' , and called it as 'Y'
ReplyDeleteand made group allowance to be paid as Zero, and group allowance paid only to 'X' group. In such a way they have shown their intelligence of reducing salary and pension expenditure, and enhanced demoralisation of armed forces personnel and veterans
Sir, Am I to understand that, the current pensioners of post 2006 draw the same as in the projected table of pre-2006......? which may mean OROP.
ReplyDelete. WO. Ramakrishnan (Rtd)
.
Sir,
ReplyDeleteare post 2006 retirees benefitted by OROP. because , there are difference in current pension amount and the proposed one.please kindly claify. Thank u sir.
I am ex recruit of army I am out came from medical can I eligible for OROP. Please reply me sir
ReplyDeleteI am medical out on 2003 and I am getting monthly pension and all benifts but. I have only service in army so please tell me sir I am eligible for OROP or Not please reply me sir, my mail id is reddyarmy@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi sir, the currant news what i red is OROP will be implemented by 25th /26th MAy 2015, as you mentioned the projected table made by you is rejected, earlier the Govt. letter said the OROP will be implemented by last week of April and the Arrears will be paid in 4 instalments, 1 st instalment will be paid in the 1st week of May, how ever the PBOR pension will be paid as X Y Groups if so then when will they prepare the new X Y chart table and when will they implement? i never found any objection raised by any one on X Y Group for PBOR Why? i wrote twice against this disparity of 2 persons of same Rank with same length o fservice getting 2 different pensions, then it wont be one Rank one Pension. mwhat is your comment?

ReplyDeleteA very comprehensive paper.
ReplyDeleteSir for long all are waiting for the OROP. Many have died. The remaining also will die in the due course, when the government will have no financial burden. cheers
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteWhat is the real meaning of OROP.
Parity in pension: equal pension for present and past pensioners- Ok.
OROP- OROP_ For one ran- there is only one pension-
Eg. 17 yrs Hav whether X or Y or Z group will get the same pension; I understand this is OROP.
]But in the air, prity in pension is talked.
The table in your blog is OROP- common for all the three forces- no group- Equal rank in all the three forces will get the same pension- thie is as per DGL prepared by Defence HQ. But it seems it is being not accepted by Govt/ Babus.
pl.clarify.
Sgt.S.Kanthiah, Exwel Trust.;
no benefit of OROP for PBOR
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI RETIRED AS SGT GP' Y ' IN AUGEST 1990 WITH BASIC PENSION RS 531 PM. WHERE AS IN PPO MENTIONED LAST PAY DRAWN RS 1450 MEANS I AM GETING 36% PENSION. SIR KNOW TELL ME WITH 50% HOW MUCH I SHOULD GET AS ON.
SIR REPLY SOON
Dear friends, OROP has become an exploitation tool used by political class to exploit the most loyalist, nationalist, honest and disciplined section of society who has been taken for a ride the sucessive government, earlier by the UPA regime and now by NDA regime. They are not different by any terminology and has been luring our community by showing lollipop namely OROP.A lot of noise has raised now and than to keep the OROP pot boiling and keeping us guessing. Has however a little noise ever been made when their salery, pension or perks has been increased.Hope we will remain the same innocents after the issue of OROP is carried over to next UPA or all parties regime..No replies sought. Thanks
ReplyDeletePension of JCO's who are Awarded Honorary Commission in active service must be fixed equivalent to the regular Offrs.
ReplyDeleteBasic Pension of Honorary Capt after 30 yrs of service is shown - Rs.17905/-
ReplyDeleteBasic Pension of Regular Capt after 30 yrs of service is shown - Rs.25600/-
It is to bring into your notice that this anomaly should be rectified since entitlement of pay and allowances of both are same during active service.
MBC SIR Please do not entertain unreliable table and this should be removed forthwith.

ReplyDeleteOROP must be implemented in its true spirit to provide justice to veterans, but this is being implemented by a corporate Central Govt, the lower Ranks can not expect much. The struggle must continue till we succeed. Hope for the best. We are born to fight, let us fight and win.

Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteMy father retired in 1995,serving 25 years in Army. At the time of retirement he was Sub Major..presently he is drawing Rs 2660 as pension. Kindly let us know the Revised pension after implementing OROP..
We truely appreciate your efforts.
Regards...Bharatishree.
After 22 months of BJP ruling OROP for the retiring ex servicement not yet declared by the Defence Minister nwhy and wht is the problem to grant the benefit to these peoples who are served for the Nation for their younger age and lost the young age in the 22 months of ruling many widows and ex servicemen are expired and dying due to old age and deceases then how the government complete the duty to their families as promissed by the pm from 1947 onwards we are only one category to strike for getting the benefits from the government , this is the first time in India the ex servicemen are strike in the capital.
ReplyDeleteReal a shame on the government part for not clearing orop ...what are they waiting for....instead of clearing the orop govt is spending on statues costing crorers of rupees and bullet train deals....wake up govt...do not ignore the soldiers voice
