It is seen that the pension of a H Lt having 26/27 yrs is lower than his junior rank having the same length of service. How can it be R. Natarajan
As per the previous pension tables of PCDA, they started from the QS 15 years onwards, however, the OROP table is showing QS 10 year onwards. at present difference between h/lt and h/capt basic pension is Rs 680/ (i.e 15465 for lt and 16145 for Capt whereas as per above chart the difference works out to Rs 1745 i.e 16160 Lt and 17905 Capt. why so much difference.
This is the best chart prepared by Service HQ for implementation. The back bone of the defense services are Sepoy to havildar who are larger in strength. Keeping in view the inflation they should be happy with this chart, if implmented
In order to check inflation and disparity its important to reduce the differences. You agreed that Sepoy to Havildar are backbone so why so much difference between pension of Havildar and Nk Subedar. It shows the unjust towards a sepoy. First we should delete the differences between us and then compare with others.
OROP is flawed in many ways. It will create havoc for nation. If X Gp and Y Gp tradesmen are granted same pension then it will encourage out flow of Y group personnel creating an illusion as if personnel from Y group are subjected to more arduous working conditions than tech groups which in errornous.

dear sir,I am getting service element of pension and disability element (40%) of pension. I had boarded out of service as recruits Pre 1975). What will be the minimum basic pension of recruits as OROP. Kindly advice the new basic.K L Stanley John
there must be no selection or there must be fixed ratio of percentage for all the services of civil through defense officers and personnel who put up minimum 10 years of service.....the problem of one rank one pension will auto matically solved and rest of the life ex servicemen will have bettter carreer too.
