Note:
1.
Table has been made using real date available and best across three
Services.
2.
For Majors, pension has been fixed based on the pension of higher rank
3. For Lts and Capts, pension is based on
VI CPC pay fixation.
4. MSP has been granted notionally to Major
Generals and above to grant higher pension vis-Ã -vis Brigadiers.
5. The Enhanced Ordinary Family Pension
will be equivalent of the re-fixed retiring pension. Special Family Pension
will be 120% of the re-fixed retiring pension and Liberalised Family Pension
will be 200% of the re-fixed retiring pension.
6. For lower disability less than 100%, the
above figures will be reduced as applicable.
The letter does not talk about War Injury Pension at all . It is supposed to be double of normal disability pension. That too needs to be included.

Dear Sir,
DeleteThis is one of the most important points forgotten/omitted during the discussion between the stake holders. The Babus forgot our War veterans of 43 years ago because there was no war since 1971.The babus think that we are scape goats. It is very sad to note that even our service Head quarters have forgotten our war veterans.
What are the figures for maj gens with different years of service?
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
DeleteKindly Excuse me. Due to limitation of space it is omitted to be published.
Please go through now it is published.
39 years is too long a service for a maj gen retiring at 58 years of age. The earlier maj gens retired with much less service at 54 and 56 years of age.The figures for them need to be given.
DeleteThe figures shown in the chart are a pipe dream. We will get nothing of the kind with the meagre amount allocated in the budget for the OROP.Let us be realistic.
ReplyDeleteTable showing large scale of difference between the pension of honey Lt and honey Capt comparing with acting Lt and Capt at the service length of 28, 30 32years. It should be waived off and pension should be given as per the scale before vi CPC. Every one know that there is no acting Lt or Capt who serve 28 or 30 years' so why this table in the case of officers been framed. Before vi CPC , this table was used for honey rank. The question arises that why new table during VI CPC has been framed for honey lay and Capt in the table of PBOR. Besides it the term of PBOR has also been lifted.
ReplyDeleteIt seems and it is fact that our seniors at on the higher posts pulling us back when the time comes for financial benefits.
It is to be considered seriously at all levels before implementation.
