Dear Sir,
We appreciate your efforts in taking up the matter of veteran’s
family pension case. In this connection, we have to advise that Qualifying Service
of the regular pensioner has not been mentioned in any of the PPO available
with us, which is mandatory criteria to revise the cases as per OROP circular.
We already have forwarded Annexure – A dated 19.03.2016 as per
PCDA (P) Circular 555 to the concerned PSA seeking information on Qualifying
Service and awaiting their response. However, we request you to forward copy
of PPO containing qualifying service data, if any, possessed by the pensioner
to enable us to process further.
Please convey the pensioner accordingly.
Regards,
Chief Manager
CPPC Mumbai
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your efforts in taking up the matter of veteran’s family pension case. In this connection, we have to advise that Qualifying Service of the regular pensioner has not been mentioned in any of the PPO available with us,-This is the answer by a responsible head of a bank.Do all readers agree with his views?
it is nice to see the response from sbi cppc.in ppo the length of service is invariably mentioned as to no.of years, months and days for the purpose of pension as well gratuity.in columns 5 and 6 respectively of cda allahabad.similar display will be there in other ppos. we may bring to their attention.without length of service(qualifying service) ppo is incomplete. now for OROP also most of the treasuries and banks have made a mistake as to which group the erstwhile group I and other groups belong as to X group or Y group.though mine is Group I,they are paying for Y group OROP pension as well as arrears.earlier if we point out these things to the concerned bank branches, immediate rectification of errors as to payment were made. now it is entrusted to cppc, the volume will vary and the response is not welcome.
