Soldiers are the last resort of a country's defence. Soldiers are the pride of a nation and still they are not looked after well by the government in terms of their pay, pension and promotions! What can be more disheartening than this? When a soldier retires at his young age, is it not the duty and responsibility of the government to look after him and his pride? If a soldier's pride is lowered and he is unable to look after himself and his family due to a meagre pension, the country's pride is also lost infront of the world. Very very sad state of affairs. The country may have millions of youths to join in armed forces, but the talent, intelligence and the inspiration will be lost in due course of time and the next generation may feel distracted to join in armed forces after knowing the realities. I, as an honest citizen and an armed forces veteran is really feeling pain in noticing the above said fact............A Veteran
well said. I also wish to say that present youth is not interested to join our own Forces as they are giving more priority in IT Field, Abroad like UK, USA, Singapore etc , Gulf Countries, only helpless person from out side and maximum from Officers family is joining the Forces
With sorry and sad I wish to say that present Government has win the Election withe help of EVM only as I felt some doubt on that other wise this much majority never never got to BJP and their Alliances for ever, so we never expect anything from this Government since our present Finance minister is carbon copy of previous Finance Minister, if anything will happen that is blessings of our Great GOD only. Pray GOD for some favourable support from Honourable Supreme Court of India as on 06 Aug 2019 to our community
It is really shocking the way we veterans having spent a rigorious life in Forces are being handleed by varios agencies in this manner.
