    One Rank One Pension Scheme
The principle of One Rank One Pension for the Armed forces has been accepted by the Government. The modalities for implementation were discussed with various stakeholders and are presently under consideration of the Government. It will be implemented once the modalities are approved by the Government. No Budget was allocated for the purpose in the Budget 2013-14. Total number of beneficiaries for OROP will be known once the modalities are approved.
This information was given by Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to Shri Hukum Singh and others in Lok Sabha today.

    2. Dear All please hold your interest as those are selected for checking and approving modalities they are very busy for the nation for their family for their parents for earning more money doing chamcha giri how they can kill poor soldiers and their family. it is better just take out the name those are doing this for sanctioned orop and keep them in border area for that period until orop see the light or keep them in fornt of enemy bullet just start thinking that from 3rd dec onwards jai hind

    5. All ministers are saying Indian bureaucrats are very superior and brainy and will solve the problems without any delay. why they are taking so much time to calculate OROP problems only so long ? I feel ministers should set some target date to implement the orders once announce in Parliment as they are the law makers. Now it is seen no money is not allocated 2013-2014 but in news paper reports were there 500 cores was allocated by UPA II and 1000 Cores by NDA.

    7. The same typed reply given even after 5 months. Can anyone reply my doubts : 1. What about Modiji's promise?
      2. What progress in modalities even after 5 months.
      3. How the last Ups govt approved it without any formula/ facts from 01/04/2014.
      4. Weather it took for our defence so much time to act for National Calamity in our country.
I hope that we need to extend full support for the cause at Jantar Mantar from 03 Dec 2014.

    8. Do you require a MINISTER of Modiji's Govt to READ OUT like a parrot what is dictated to him by whoever it is? Should he not atleast ask a few intelligent questions, get the answers and incorporate his considered words in such a reply to the Parliament, and to the nation? Who is the Boss & who is the Babu here?? No wonder the values of our great democratic Institutions are getting eroded time & again. Jor se bolo JAI HIND.

    9. Please think about the reasons as why OROP, is not implemented for the last thirty years. It is very hard to get from present Govt. It was Mr P Chitambram who declared just before last step on the floor. As the OROP has been accepted, by the Govt, I request the EXSM Leaderships to press hard for implementation . BEST OF LUCK. THANKS

    10. Those are responsible for the delay or just making fool of the fertinity must be sacked. The agitation from 3rd DEC. onward must continue till positive result come for implementation of OROP

    11. From 1 Apr 14 onward OROP modalities are under approval. It is taking too long to draft a letter or speed of progress itself is a signal the seriousness about the subject with the Govt. It seems definition of the subject is in danger and further wait.

    12. From 1 Apr 14 onward OROP modalities are under approval. dear ex serviceman please note our pm is very much interested to do chae pe charcha ( gossip), what is serious or what he is actual promise it is not possible to understand , he was with chai with foujies in sieachin and said orop is cleared as it was his dream and his promise, may be his cabinet is not listing him they are more powerful than pm. so better to listen gossip ort start strong agitation like political parties then only chae pe charcha will see the light poor soldiers will get the sanctioned orop. jai hind

    13. As it is confirmed by IESM website that after receiving request letter from Mos MOD, the proposed agitation (03-16 Dec 14) have been withdrawn and no rally on 7. So, we may take it as a positive development and take
it as a real effort in the way of OROP, then no wrong in postponing the agitation. But one should not forget the past experience in this regards. It maybe just another effort to buy time and avoid media attention also on going parliament session attention. This fear also supported by Brigadier (retd) V Mahalingam's in his thoughtful blog in TOO, which is available in following link:
