    1. MBC Sir thanks for this posting. Many people were not even aware of this minimum pay in the fitment table. But some people are misinterpreting that pension should be 50% of this pay.It is wrong. What the 6th CPC said and recommended is the pension fixed (by whatever rules in practice)should not be lesser than this 50%.It is only a lower limit and this itself is not the pension for everybody. Is it right or wrong? you may please correct me.

    2. Excellent...can you give formula for arrears calculation?

      1. When this dispute emerged, the case should have referred to the pay commission themselves to give worked examples how pension to be fixed.Or the entire 3 service exsm pensioners should have fought the case together in the AFT and SC.The commission recommended removal of pro rata for who dad completed pension service. The commission clearly said this recommendation is applicable existing PBORs and for the civilians from the date it is accepted by the govt.In the absence of pro rata calculation the only method left is according to the revised last basic pay drawn in the revised scale corresponding to the pre revised scale.50% of that pay will be pension.
To calculate this concerned record offices should furnish data to the PCDA regarding the pensioners. When ever there is change in basic eligible pension(not DR etc),the same has to be claimed by the record office as per rules and recommendations and put up to the PCDA for verification, adherence to the rules and accuracy and approve the same. But now a days and OUR HQs remain silent as if they are not at all concerned withe retired soldiers.Record office and 3 chiefs have got major roles in this .We should not blame and fight with the PCDA without sound reasons. In case the PCDA does not approve as per record office recommendation, all the 3 chiefs have combined and filed the case in the AFT ,if necessary in the SC there after. How can a soldier in Kanyakumari can fight case in the AFT or SC single handed in Chennai or in Delhi?. Any way things came to an end.Even at this juncture our service chiefs under whom we served and we got our pension recommendation, can actively take part. Will they do it?.It is a million dollar question for a poor soldier.Let us wait.

    3. What it means "fitment table" for a pensioners....?

      ReplyDelete
    4. from reliable source it is understood that, the de linking of the 33 years will be as per the above fitment table from 2006 Jan to 2009 Jun and 50% of the notional maximum from 2009 Jul to 2012 Sept and 2012 to till date

    5. This is a revised rationalized table & this is based on the SC order. All past pensioners i.e pre 2006 will get maximum for the given rank respective of the the length of service i.e a 15 years service Hav X gp & 25 years Service Hav X gp will get 13920 & pension will be half of this.
This has happned since weightage has been remove for all Post 2006 pensioners & full pension is restored for those who may not have 33 years of service
Similar table has also been issue for Officers where
This would mainly benefit people with lesser service

      1. it means Hav X gp with 15 years of service will get minimum pension =13920/2 = 6960. if he is drawing less than this amount, his pension will be paid Rs. 6960/- from 01-01-2006. please clarify. is it correct or not.

    7. Sir, prorata pension was also on same scale of pay, except, what was revised on the recommendation of the committee of secratorys. I think the table may give way to DL33 at earliest.

    17. Mr MBC had done a very good job to educate the veterans who do not have the basic ideas of pay structure of armed forces. In service we were not allowed to know that or no one has taught us.He has given the pay structure of armed force pesonal(PBOR).He has given clearly the 5th CPC pay scale and the revised 6th CPC scale of each rank in each of the three services as per groups. You should know, what is your last basic pay drawn in 5th CPC and calculate yourself, what is your corresponding revised pay in the 6th CPC.Rest we shall discuss one by one.I request MBC Sir to throw some more light on this subject as he is well educated and well experienced.I hope MBC sir will certainly spare some time us.
