Minister for Development of North Eastern Region General VK Singh (retd) today assured people at Arienpura village in Gharaunda Assembly segment — which has a large population of ex-servicemen — that he would implement “one rank, one pension” for ex-servicemen.

At a meeting organised in
support of BJP candidate Harvinder Kalyan from Gharaunda segment, he
said, “The Union Government is serious about one rank, one pension.
Around Rs 2,000 crore has been kept for this purpose and I assure you it
will be given to all ex-servicemen. The previous government did not
implement it.”
COMMENTS
All the people can be fooled for some time.Few people can be fooled for ever. But all the people can not be fooled for all the time.After BJP govt came to power under the leadership of PM Modi,Not even a single paise is paid to Ex-servicemen on account of OROP.
FM ARUN JAITLY is a gentlemen & he has rightly said that '' Politition make many promises during election which can not be implemented'' during a meeting with IESM delegation along with GEN Satbirsingh earlier.
INFERENCE
IT is certain that we can not expect OROP from this GOVT.Let us take leave of this hope & live with peace of mind in this grand old age.
