HOW TO GO ABOUT CALCULATION
OF ARREARS OF JCOs & Ors:- With coming of this rule
the arrears will be due to those persons who have been receiving Pension lesser
than the 50% of "Minimum of Pay in Pay Band" wef 01 Jan 2006 to 30
June 2014 ie upto the date of implementation of the OROP Scheme.
2. Hence the first and foremost item to know is the
"Min of Pay in Pay Band" pertaining to your Group and Rank. The
above chart has been derived from various Circulars issued by PCDA(P). Do
intimate in case there be some changes and modification is needed.
3. The amount by which you have been getting lesser than this amount is the Basic difference now payable per month.
4. In case of JCOs & ORs three Circulars ie 547, 430 and 501 are important. There will thus be three differences corresponding to periods as under :-
(a) Difference between MPinPB
and figures in 547 from 01 Jan 2006 to 30 June 2009.
(b)
Difference between MPinPB and figures of circulat 430 from 01 Jul 2009
to 23 Sep 2012.
(c) Difference
between MPinPB and figures of Circular 501 from 24 Sep 2012 to 30 Jun 2014.
and the difference be taken
as Zero.6. Multiply these three differences with Multiplication factors as under to add period and DA:-
(a) 01 Jan 2006 to 30 Jun 2009 = 46.02.
(b) 01 Jul 2009 to 23 Sep 2012. = 57.62
(c) 24 Sep 2012 to 30 Jun 2014. = 39.76
when is the letter being issued by DESW and PCDA(P)???? Defence civilians have already got the arrears. why is DESW delaying the issuance of letter??

DeleteWhat abt circular no 471 bcoz our pensions have been revised based on this . For exple sgtgp Y with 15 yrs ser worked out to 4840 / 5301 on prorata of 7605

DeleteAwaiting issuance of orders ,calculations are fine and natural.
ReplyDeleteFundamental Q is , why ,there is so much delay and dragging ? ,when orders to def civilians were promptly issued on 8 april.
This sort of delay happens every time since I know of 1973.
Therefore , veteran soldiers are legitimately entitled to interest payments for delayed period.
On further critical analysis ,these amounts due since 1-1-2006 ,are being paid now after 10 years due to court orders only ,since administration/beaurocracy illegitimately denied.
Thus, arrears of say ₹100 /PM is liable to be paid at present rate of DA of 1.25% .I.e,₹225 at present cost of living.
This is food for thought of veterans.
They are playing another trick for preparing tables like circular 547.

It`s not easy to bring DESW out of slumber so easily.In the case of Rounding Off Disability, the benefit was extended to only the Invalided out veterans, Inplace of all . Even after the rejection of appeal in 2011 in Supreme Court,the implementation is still pending.This is the exteremely poor state of affairs at top level.

ReplyDeletePre-2006 33 years 50% pension is applicable for those who discharged after 20 years or above service not for less service 20 years for all vetrans and civilians.

Sir,jcos from nb.sub.onwards there is no change in pension from 23.9.2012.But as per supre court order min.pension to be calculated by taking min.pension in pay band with fitment benefit plus grade py plus msp plus x pay if applicable. So how can you calculate the arresrs unless the new circular by pcda.Dont spread misunderstanding among veterans.
ReplyDeletePCDA should work out the arrears since Banks do not under stand our ranks and groups ,many veterans have not got Pre-2006 arrears and OROP arrears.
ReplyDeleteSir, IWas boarded out in 1995(doe 26/5/77 IMB 18/8/1995)after 18 yrs of service. Presently my BP is 5992. May I know, I am eligible for arrears from1/1/2006 to 30/12/2014.

With 17 years service.i was given pro rata pension for 17ys.Please take up the banks authorities to pay full pension to all reemployed ex sersrvicemen in view of the delinking of pension of 33ys for full pension.all
