SUPREME COURT ORDERS RECTIFICATION OF OROP ANOMALIES
MoD had approached SC against the order passed by AFT Kochi wherein grant of same pension from 22 years QS to 33 years QS was held incorrect and MoD was directed to remove the anomaly. There is also a mention of OMJC report in AFT Kochi order. SC has dismissed the appeal filed by MoD and directed to remove the anomaly expeditiously preferable within four months.

ReplyDeleteBased on Honorable Supreme Court judgement of 16 Mar 2022 the One Rank One Pension Revision with effect from 01 Jul 2019 to be paid within three month i.e. as on 15 Jun 2022 to all Ex Servicemen and their families but the Ministry of Defence /Department of Ex Servicemen Welfare (Name sake only, in real life the concern Department is totally far away from the actual definition and trying to pass the time to find out how much delay and deny or how much we can harass Ex Servicemen and their families in maximum level/extent) has approached the Honourable Supreme Court for extension in the month of Sep 2022, just prior to the expiry date of 15 Sep 2022 for further period of 3 month extension duly stating by Ministry of Defence/Department of Ex Servicemen Welfare(DESW) that our all works on One Rank One Pension has been completed and only Cabinet approval is required accordingly Honorable Supreme Court has given 3 month extension plus addition period of further 3 month extension has been given i.e. up to 15 Dec 2022 , on completion of just three month i.e. on 14 Dec 2022 again the said Department has approached the Honorable Supreme Court for further period of 3 month extension of 3 month i.e. up to 15 Mar 2023 without shame and any Morale duly stating that we need 3 month further extension period for Cabinet approval and preparation Revised One Rank One Pension (OROP) table with some ideas in their minds to fooling or own Honorable Supreme Court also . Now a days all Ex Servicemen and their families are fear in their mind with some suspicious mood and cognitive mentality that whether we will get OROP Revision in our life time or not or it will drag till end 2023 or Early 2024 for vote Banking or the same practice will follow as happened with One Man Judicial Commission Report on One Rank One Pension as the said Report has submitted on 26 Oct 2026 but even after a period of 6 year either no news on said Report or implemented as yet, these type of Severe Apathy by present Govt (During Election time they will remember Ex Servicemen community, showing Hollow Patriotism, fake promises, fooling Ex Servicemen community and their families also making confusion in the minds of public of Nation) and one of our main internal enemy is known as Bureaucrat/IAS/IDAS Lobbies are making hurdles on every step for delaying and denying the welfare measures to Ex Servicemen community with keen interest to giving false statement to Govt and downgrading our own Armed Forces on day to day basis for their own(Bureaucrat Lobbies) benefits
In view of the above following may please be intimated:-
(a) When and which date OMJC Report on OROP will implement based on recent Honourable Supreme Court judgement of Sep 2022
(b) OROP Revision from 01 Jul 2019 will implement or not if implement from which date
