PRESENCE OF UNPRECEDENTED CONSOLIDATION OF EX-SERVICEMEN VOTES IN HIMACHAL
Himachal is a state which has
maximum number Ex-servicemen Population. This sizable number of ESM voters were
taken for granted by the Party in Power in the recently concluded state
election since they were traditionally ruling Party voters. Unlike other states
the Ex-servicemen electorate is a decisive factor in Himachal. The Ruling Party
underestimated their Sentiments, ensured their defeat which otherwise should
have been avoided if proper attention were given to their problems. The
Non-Implementation of OROP revision as ordered by HSC & the fear sycosis in
the minds of Ex-servicemen folk due to Stoppage Pension on account of improper
Implementation of the new Defence Pension System known as SPARSH earned their
anger which compelled them for a different voting pattern. Hence it is obvious
that there was a consolidation of Ex-servicemen votes in Himachal which may
spread to other states if the legitimate grievances of Ex-servicemen were not
addressed.

All Ex Servicemen and their families of our great Nation must think twice prior to voting and voted to any Party other than BJP since the said party has severely cheated or own Ex Servicemen and their families since 2013 also ruined our own Armed Forces in the name of Agnipath and not implemented OROP in a true spirit and proper manner also OROP Revision has not yet been implemented even Supreme Court permissible period is also going to complete within a week. Now Ex Servicemen and their families are worried about whether this Anti salaried class Govt will ask further extension or implement OROP within week, Since 03 Nov 2022 onwards no Cabinet meeting has been take place, we do not why these much delay to form a Cabinet meeting even after a gap of 35 days. De to these type of Severe Apathy by present Govt feels shame on Govt which makes bad image and sad to Nation
ReplyDeleteI don't know how much true of this content, but I hope it should be true. We had gotten our first phase of OROP after lots of struggle. Now revision of OROP after 5-years is going on same way, yet MODI is claiming its credit, it is irony.
ReplyDeleteHonestly BJP lost in Himachal due to not implementing of Orop,OROP revision and migrating defence pensioners to l SPRSH,which has caused lot of inconvenience and uncertainty in the lives of senior citizens ,who are not computer literates. Great mistake was done by BJP in implementing SPRSH. Exservicemen and their families will never pardon BJP.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe this. Every five years governments are regularly changed there. Moreover the congress promised restoration of OLD PENSION SCHEME. There are 1.58 lakhs government employees are there. around 57,000 personnel retired after implementation of NEW PENSION SCHEME from 01.01.2014. Total 2.15 lakhs. A family averagely contains three to four members. Accordingly congress scored around 6,80,000 votes. Total voters in Himachal is 68,00,000. So 10% votes wholly transferred to Congress. Nothing to do with OROP or SPARSH.
ReplyDeleteOf course it is true that Ex servicemen community is slowly loosing faith on Modi Government. But not yet converted into Anti Modi votes. Modi should wakeup.
