OROP MONEY should be completely TAX FREE as its for FULL TERM SERVICE in ARMED FORCES O which is a NATIONAL TRIBUTE to Armed Forces for their Service to the Nation.
(1) OFFICERS are granted OROP after 20 years , not like JAWANS who are granted OROP after 15 years.....so, after 20 years Service OFFICERS don't retire as CAPT, LT...OFFICERS retire as MAJOR....(2) OROP is not for AYA RAM , GYA RAMs like PMR- Premature Retirement, SS- Short Service.
Msk Rao *LMC ka Karan- GUTKA, DARU, CIGARETTE, BIDI are responsible for Lifestyle Diseases which makes Soldiers LMC* .... OROP Policy is skewed in favour of LMC-Low Medical Categories with LIFE STYLE DISEASES like DIABETES, BP, SUGAR, HEART DISEASE and STROKE, OBESITY and diseases associated with SMOKING and ALCOHOL etc... who serve FULL TENURE in PEACE AREA and don't Serve in FIELD AREA like DOKLAM and TAWANG and draw DOUBLE OROP.... (...additional OROP on LMC Component of Pay which is DOUBLE DHAMAKA as LMC Component of Pay is TAX FREE) ... vis-a-vis FULLY FIT Officers in SHAPE-1 Category and Jawans in AYE Category who actually Serve FULL TERM in FIELD AREA draw SINGLE OROP which is TAXABLE. .....
