    Press Information Bureau
    Government of India
    Ministry of Defence
    13-October-2016 19:49 IST
Issue of Disability Pension for Defence Forces Personnel referred to 7th CPC Anomaly Committee
The 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommended a slab based system for determining the disability pension for Defence Forces Personnel, which was accepted by the Government. Percentage based system was followed in the 6th CPC regime for calculating disability pension for Defence Forces Personnel as well as Civilians.
Service Headquarters have represented that the percentage based system should be continued under the 7th CPC for calculating disability pension for Defence Services at par with their Civilian counterparts.
The Ministry has referred the representation of the Service Headquarters to the Anomaly Committee of 7th CPC for consideration.

    1. Very well done. It was the only way left with the Govt to uncertainly delay this issue. We the Armed Forces serving personal and veterans are thumping our chest behind the GOVT and leaving no stone unturned to praise it. Even the surgical strike carried out by ARMY has turned a tool of Govt's political mileage.

    2. I hope we will wait upto Mar 2017 for Pay Commission Arrears and Disability Pension in revised form as Disability issue has been referred to committee which means which will take another 5 to 06 months hence no hope in current financial year, most probably by Mid Jun 2017 or before Diwali 2017. We are fools to serve the Indian Armed Forces as the Most Enemy is known as Bureaucrats/IAS/IDAS Lobbies and Politicians have drastically downgraded Indian Armed Forces especially to Below Officer Ranks in a such a way

    3. Look ,look ...First ,existing dp ( disability pension)structure from 6 cpc of %age basis is tampered only for mily -retaining the advantageous %age to civil service employees.
It was a game of deliberate act( publication with biased inputs to cpc by babus) of disparity to mily .
Instead of simply correcting the same before publication ,see this circus now - projection ,redress of grievances ,consideration by committee ,anomaly committee ,COS,GOM ,AFT ,Supreme court.
....for years and decades. The Q is why create anomaly and then keep looking at it ?.Is this not a game of circus perpetuated by babus incl def accts ( that member part of cpc).
This has to be answered by babu - neta in public .What is the point in using govt media with all the resources to justify this -disparity act on mily and further drive division with in mily??.

      sir,

Mr Arun Jaitley knows how to ward off the problematic issued created by himself, just refer the matter to a committee, later on it is uncertain whether recommendation of the committee is to be accepted further we have to go to the court, very nice formulae dithering the matter. how long MODI can play only for five years, two years left hardly three more let him play all sort of clown circus play
