Four 4 years TOD is well planned by Indian Armed Forces as is being done in other Armies for shorter periods of 1 year to save DEFENCE MONEY...eg... (1) US Forces tour-of-duty in Vietnam, Afganisthan, Iraq for Ground forces lasted one year
