      Dear Friends,
1 Let me give you the correct info regarding Implementation of OROP.
2 OROP as per the Govt was implemented wef 01 july 2014.There were serious Anomalies in the Govt Notification dt 07 Nov 2015 on OROP.Same were pointed out to Govt. However the Govt has not corrected these Anomalies till date.We filed the Legal Case in HSC.The last hearing was on 01 May 2019 where in HSC directed the Govt to call the Petitioners IESM,discuss and resolve Anomalies;the next hearing on 06 Aug 2019.
3 As per the apptoved Definition,Equalisation of Pension is to be carried out whenever there is change in the rate of Pensions. It was accepted by Govt during discussions that
Equalisation of pension was required to be done every year. But vide Govt Notification dt 07 Nov 2015,Govt made Equalisation every five years.
      Accordingly,as per Govt Notification,
Equalisation of Pension Under OROP Scheme is due in 01 July 2019.
4 The Govt and bureaucracy,it seems want to delay and deny equalisation of Pensions to Defence Fraternity.CGDA Letrer to MOD reveals the Intentions.
5 We have strongly taken up with the RM for the Implementation of full OROP.
      6 We will vigorously pursue
      Implementation of
Full OROP.We need all members of the Defence Fraternity to Unite and join in the Struggle to get Justice to Soldiers.
Regards Maj Gen Satbir Singh SM.
