It is indeed true that medinces are in short supply in ECHS.I did see a news report that ECHS will also have local authorised chenusrs from where N.A. medinces can procured similar to cghs.Hope it comes through soon.
procedure to get 'non-available'medicines from local market has since been simplified for ECHS. Pl visit DESW site. It is not advisable to merge ECHS and CGHS.
If ECHS and CGHS are merged it will be beneficial for many people.

ReplyDeletemedicines are not only short supply, nearing to expiry date(within one or two months). Hence can procured similar to CGHS
