GS SIDHU
GENERAL SECRETARY
AFVAI
(ON BEHALF OF ALL INDIA ESM UNITED FRONT)
We should not boycott 15 August & 26 January. We may put on black bands on our arms to register our protest.
ReplyDeleteDear Shimlacharlie unless we boycot govt.function nothing would be achieved.By boycotting govt.fiction we don't become ante national this just to express our anguish towards govt.
DeleteI think you are not working in the field so that you don't know obot OROP commitment. This is Nagesear for simlacharlie
DeleteThis time let our fight last till we get our objective, the OROP Scheme as defined by the Koshyari Commitee and none other. Let us not retreat or retrace our lost ditch attack on the Modi Government by loosing the momentum built till now with false promises as done earlier. Their commitment to our cause must be firm and complete safe guarding our pension forever. Let the unsympathetic Government hear our BATTLE CRY loud and clear. JAI HO, VEER JAWAN.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteIndividual Feelings have no place in a struggle to achieve a common cause
We should all abide by the descition taken by the coordination committee and act accordingly with one heart till get success.
ReplyDeleteVeteran Journalist Mr Karan Thapar, at New Delhi onJun 07, 2015 correctly summarised the correct position of OROP. " Now, three conclusions seem irresistible. First, there are serious and unresolved differences between the defence and finance ministries over the definition of OROP and, no doubt, cost lies at their heart. Second, the PM has either sided with Mr Jaitley or, at least, is not rushing to over-rule his concerns. Third, the PM is asking for time either because he’s hoping he can find the resources to make good a full OROP or because he’s looking for a way to sell a diluted version." We are not to accept any dilution to the Kashyari Commission defined OROP norm. Whatever be the differences between ministries, but the all powerful PM must implement OROP by a definite date within this season.
ReplyDeleteU r absolutely right... ESM should not accept any other version of OROP...than stated by Kashyari Commission.... And this is the time to show the strength of ESM...When this Govt. is cheating...every day by giving new dates
Deletedear sir,
ReplyDeleteLet us protest in democratic way accepted by the ordinary civilian, their daily life should not be disturbed in any way, our problem and modi's inaction and callousness and injustice shall prevail upon the world community
This is how we are being cheated by Mr Parrikar.
ReplyDeleteParrikar says ‘one rank, one pension’ proposal this week-Tribune News Service, New Delhi, January 31
As retried veterans of the armed forces converge on the national capital to protest non-implementation of the “one rank-one pension” (OROP) scheme on Sunday, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said the modalities will be finalised by next week and the file will be sent to the Finance Ministry for further action. Parrikar, while speaking to media persons on the sidelines of a defence function, said: “Discussions are on to fix the modalities (for the OROP)… By next week, the view of the Defence Ministry will be formed.” The OROP issue has been fast-tracked, Parrikar said adding he had already held several meetings on it. .........
Whatever may be the opinion of PM,FM orDM we should stick to the principle that we should not get back from the strikre until the order is issued on OROP as per the already approved version by both houses of Parliament.
ReplyDeleteHon Gen Secy.
ReplyDeleteThat Shimla Mirchi ....put some mirchi in his mouth wish u all the best. My good wishes.
Sir, Do you want Heart Patient with By Pass Surgery also to participate in Maha Rally on 14 Jun 2015? I joined Army during chinese aggression emergency 1963 and was superannuated during Op Kargil attack with 39 years 2 months service and being paid pension equal to 6 years commissioned service of major. These are rules made by IAS and approved by last Congress Govt. Hony Capt pension with no commissioned service is just Rs.2000 less with my 19 years and 7 months commissioned service.I daily consume 10 tablets for survival.
ReplyDeletemy sympathies to u sir
DeleteWe should not have any discussion with Defence Minister in future as it is now transparent like day light that Finance Minister and Prime Minister jointly do not like to implementation of OROP. They will only talk and make it more complex and also coninue to indicate about paucity of fund. If condition of fund is so critical, how Mangolia or Bangladesh enjoys paltry of amount as donation or why exservicemen need to starve when their Prime Minister enjoys a suit of 14 laksh. There should be a limitation of individual property and hard cash capital of every individual of this country. Ex-servicemen are dying for merely 4/5 thousand additional amount whereas the thousands including political brasses in India are having more than 100 crores in their banks. This is our country. We will (R) will not believe any one until OROP is implemented. Exservicemen above 60s will certainly loose all patience for this negligence of the Govt.
ReplyDeletePromising of 'weeks' are becoming 'weaker' now and started playing wicked with exservicemen's legitimate demand of immediate implementation of OROP. It's not a good example of any Govt. giving fake consolition like 'top priority'/'very soon'''within few weeks' etc In fact, . elderly exservicemen of 80s or 90s have left all hope by this time.. What our grand children will learn from them - except telling lie.
ReplyDeleteDear sir,
ReplyDeleteNow veterans has started agitating against the modi government due to non implementation of OROP, that is very genuine fundamental rights, supreme court orders are there. I am afraid to say that when they fail to honor the monthly salary of serving soldiers, definitely this will be going to happen, all serving soldiers may leave their weapons and strike against the government what would be the position of our independent india and the people of india whose highest hope that our soldiers are at border, let us have peaceful sleep, they are there to protect us. it shows modi's inexperienced and immature status of his faculty to deal the situation . i do not know what is going to happen

ReplyDeleteDear veterans
ReplyDeleteDuring PM Banglades visit while addressing in Dhaka university he said our soldiers made pakistani 90 thousand soldiers to compelled to surrender in from of our armed forces but Modi has forgotten those indian soldiers are todays exservicemen/veterans. He should realise the sacrifice prime of life to the nation
The govt wants to dragan wisely till finalisatin of 7thpc ,
ReplyDeleteWithout holding the nose, cheildren's anable to drink medicines !
ReplyDeleteMr Modi recently reminded the world of India’s fair treatment of the 1971 Pakistani prisoners forgetting to mention his own way of treating own soldiers and their welfare with utter contempt. The Finance Ministry, and the Prime Minister find it difficult to understand two parameter (rank and total service) controlled simplest of all definitions. Then, how are they supposed to take the country to its new glory as dreamt by Mr Modi?
ReplyDeletesir i have calculated the entire cost for the implementation of orop....Suppose the govt pays the arrears from 1/4/2014 in a single month then it will cost around one time burden of 20000 to 35000 crores of rupees(for 20 to 30 lakh exmen)...And the monthly pension will cost around 300 to 800 crores annually..Thats nt a big ammount compared to other TOTAL WASTEFULL EXPENDITURES..we have 545 no of M.P's and their MPLAD(THE SCHEME WHICH IS CREDITED TO HAVE STARTED CORRUPTION IN INDIA) costs around 2715 crores annualy as evry MP is paid 5 crores annually undr MPLAD scheme..We have total of 4574 MLA'S(4120 L.A AND 454 L.C)..And 1crore CDF to each MLA costs 4574 crores annualy..Excluding salaries and othr perks of these Mp's and mla's...Indian govt paid annual subsidy of around 900 crores in 2009 for HAJ jatra...data for following years in not availabl(any1 can use google)..Recently g.o.i paid 3600 crore for flood relief in kashmir..Govt can throw lots of money for breeding those anti national elements bt they dnt hv money for soldiers..Its request with the Admin of this blog to plz highlight these facts before media(although media is nt going to pay any heed..bt atleast we shud try).Any1 who's reading this msg plz copy n publish it on othr blogs also because many of them had already bloked me..
DeleteI like 14&15 June action From all India ESM family
ReplyDeletedear sir,
ReplyDeleteMR MODI is claiming credit of arresting 90 thousand pakistan soldier, though prisoners of war, we the indian soldiers treated them as brothers and helped them to formulate bangaladesh as they desired, the troops who sacrificed their lives in that mission, how they are being treated by MODI as beggars for OROP, how many widows are living with meagre pensionary benefit. it is sin to treat the ex indian soldiers by stopping their genuine demand of OROP once accepted and approved by all and sundry without any solid reasons , let us pray to god to save us
Mr Modi got no moral right to speak of any war fought by the Indian Armed Forces since independence just because the same soldiers who fought those wars are being denied by him personally of their rightful pension under OROP Scheme.
DeleteThe ECHS facility for ExServiceman and their families was reduced by this Govt. Many Hospitals denied ECHS treatment as the Govt is not paying the money in time even with the far reduced rate. There were 1688 hospitals in the country where ECHS facility were available which reduced now to less than 1000.Now more hospitals are leaving the facility of ESM
ReplyDeleteWe should take this case also along with OROP.
During 1971 war our forces captured 1 lakh paksathni soldiers Field Marshall San manekshaw was chief who has led to greatest military victory and created new country Bangladesh; he was not awarded any award but a cricketer who made money hole life awarded 'BHARST RATNA so same thing OROP

ReplyDeleteStruggle should continue till the OROP is not implemented in full terms
ReplyDeleteDear Sirs,
ReplyDeleteI have two recommendations:
a. Let us start looking at political options. That is the language most understood.
b. Let us start training our young officers for clearing civil services exams. Every year at least 50 officers and if possible other ranks should join IAS, IPS, IFS etc. This is the only way this country can be saved.
